Sorry if this is a bit out of line but ... At the moment we have 1 article on Lucy, 1 article on Druidism, 2 articles on roughly the Northern Tradition. Now I'm happy with this tread - and wouldn't mind 20 more articles on Odin worship but it's not really reflective of us.

What we need in terms of articles to really reflect the community I recognise

1. A piece on Wicca
2. Chaos Magic
3. Runes
4. Reiki
5. Vegan culture/ethics?
6. Rituals what to expect (mainly the dancing needs to be mentioned)
7. Celtic Wicca (if that's the right term).
(most importantly)
8.. Starting out - how to get started in this wonderful world.
9. Wicca, Wicca, Wicca!
10. Shamanism
11. Native American/Medicine Wheel
12. Something on Wicca

The above is a personal opinion. What Have I missed? If you'd like to write but aren't sure about your English grammar/style/spelling - I hereby volunteer to proof read (I spend most of my day proof reading - another piece on something interesting isn't going to hurt).

Maybe we could garner people's various types of wicca and what they do, then compile an article.  We could track down someone who describes themselves as wiccan to write it, but they could summarise the main different types practiced, bit like I did in the Lucy article for Lucy-ism, but with several more different types.  ;D

I think M is "just" saying that we should concentrate on rounding out the article collection to reflect the different paths and be representative of what people in Brum are into.

I have a few articles from Albion magazine I can put up if you like, about wicca, runes, traditional witchcraft etc. Wouldn't be a problem as I own the copyright to the issue of Albion?

it's going to be one of those ask 100 people and get 100 different answers.

yes granted wicca has one set of guides for everyone but everyone even coven's see wicca slightly differently and is taught slightly differently each time even though it shouldn't.

We could do with an article on divination aswell unless there is one already?
And an article on pagan Gods and Goddesses?

Can we have an article on bogstandard or 'other forms of' paganism please?

I know I'm not the only one who doesn't really fit under any of the usual headings and how-to books, so I'm envisaging snippets from different people with a little bit about what they believe and what they do with it.

I'm happy to have a crack at marshalling the various snippets into a coherent and cohesive whole, I just need to know what you all believe and what you do

Please do - I think it would make for a fascinating read.

That's a great plan, I reckon if the writer/editor collated the viewpoints of those members who are into the particular stuff they are planning to glean an article about, they could cobble together an article which is sort of representative, yet unique.  :)
