AI was the focus of 2023 Microsoft Ignite event as the company revealed updates and new products. Bing Chat was rebranded as Copilot, and Microsoft introduced custom AI chips. New AI tools were also unveiled, including Copilot for Azure, Copilot for Service, and Copilot Studio. Microsoft Teams got new AI-powered features, and Microsoft announced the consolidation of its planning tools into a single product. Copyright protections for generative AI usage and the introduction of Windows AI Studio and Azure AI Speech were also highlighted.
